Ike’s is a home from home, like every bookshop should be. Housed on the second storey of a colonial era boarding house, we’ve two little rooms and one big room of shelves of books and antiques, a kitchen, and a terrace overlooking Florida Road outside. Here you’ll find a wealth of books, from Paradise Lost to Potter, while this space doubles as an events hall that’s played host to some of South Africa’s most famous literary giants.
